2. How do i Change my nameserver details?
Because computers identify each other by IP addresses and not names (as people do), DNS's or Domain Name Servers are essential used for systems to be able to find and communicate with each other. Name servers are essentially phone books that translate
the domain names which we use, into IP addresses that our computers use.
Updates to this information are stored in a Central Registry, which hosting companies like ourselves must connect to regularly to update our DNS information.
2. How do i Change my nameserver details?
There are 2 ways that you can change your DNS information.
Through your NCM
To change the nameserver and DNS details associated with your domain name
please follow the steps that will guide you through our Customer Management
System.
Go to www.host.ie and click on "Login" on the top right hand side.
Select the option for the NCM and enter your details.
Then click on "Domains" and then select the extension of the domain you want to access and click on the "Active" option.
Then beside your domain name click on the "Full Details" button.
On the next page you will see an option called "Click here to configure DNS". If you click on that option you will then be given the options to make the changes.
Or alternatively you can send in a request to support@novara.ie and we will make the changes for you.
If you are sending in a request to us, there are a few things to note.
1. The request must come from the administrator contact email address. This is for security purposes to ensure only you have the ability to request these changes
2. Can you ensure that the mail is laid out in the following format and that the subject line clearly states you domain name and that this is a DNS change request
