Publishing your site in live mode via HTTP
Note: When uploading files from Frontpage via HTTP the default ownership is http. The customer will need to edit the upload settings on Front Page so that files are writable by customer - and upload it again.

To publish your Web site:
1. Open your Web site with FrontPage
2. Click on File in the top menu then click on Publish Web to open the publishing dialogue boxes
3. Type your domain name in the Publish Destination text box in the form of http://www.yourdomain.com, then click on the Ok or Publish button (depending on your version of FrontPage
4. If this is your first time publishing you will be prompted to enter your User name and Password, then click on the Ok button:
- Username / UserID – This is your FTP username as assigned in the FTP Accounts section
- Password – This is your FTP password as assigned in the FTP Accounts section
Your site should start to publish to your Network Solutions server space.
