Setting up Autoresponder / Webmail

Webmail
Webmail is another method of accessing your e-mail account online. There are a number of way by which you can access webmail.
- Simply go to http://mail.(yourdomain) and click the big envelope or choose from one of the Webmail clients listed.
- From the control panel, click on the E-mail icon in the quick access section. To launch the webmail client pertaining to a mailbox, simply click on the launch icon to the far right of the mailbox name.
- Also from the control panel, click on the webmail icon in the quick access section of the control panel. This will open a page which prompts your for your mailbox name and password. When you have entered these details click on the "Go" button to launch the webmail client.
Please note that the default webmail client that is launched from the control panel is SQWebMail. Also your username for webmail is your full e-mail address.

Autoresponder : User View
The autoresponder is an attribute of a given mailbox. Whenever a message arrives in a mailbox, the system sends a preset response back to the sender. This is most used to send Out of Office replies when a user is not available to answer e-mail.
If you do not have access to the hosting control panel but do have a mailbox configured within your domain and have access to your e-mail address and mailbox password you can configure it through our new autoresponder tool at https://cp.host.ie/cgi-bin/autoresponder.pl
This will provide you with a login screen prompting you for your full e-mail address and mailbox password. If you have successfully logged in your e-mail address will be displayed to the right hand side with a logout link.
If you currently have an autoresponder enabled, a message will be displayed telling you and the content will be displayed with the option to edit and update it or delete it. Otherwise to set up a new autoresponder just enter a subject line and response message and click add.
Autoresponder : Admin View
Autoresponder is a mailbox attribute. Whenever a message arrives in a mailbox, the system immediately sends a uniform response back to the sender.
To access this utility, log into your control panel as usual on : https://cp.host.ie
Click on the email icon (located in the quick access panel) at the bottom of the page.
Next, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the mailbox icon beside the account that you want to enable the autoresponder on - (this will allow you to change the mailbox settings)
