Beginners introduction

The general process of obtaining a domain starts off by you choosing a domain name, registering it at register.ie and opening a hosting account at the time of registration.

Once this hosting account has been created on our hosting platform, a Welcome Email is sent to the administrative contact email address for the domain. [the email address you registered with]

This email is very important as it contains the login details to

1. Your control panel login details

2. Your Novara Customer Management System login details

Let us explain a little about these two systems which you now have access to

1. Your control panel.

The Control panel can be found at https://cp.host.ie/ The primary tasks people carry out when they get these login details is to

  • Upload their web site.
  • Create an email address in the control panel
  • Configure their email client [eg outlook express] to collect the mail for the account.

Below is what the login screen of the control panel will look like

2. Your N.C.M (Novara Customer Manager)

The N.C.M is where you can see all your details pertaining to your account. Such details as

  • Administrative, Billing and Technical contact details,
  • Which domains you have registered with us
  • Domain / hosting expiration dates
  • Invoices
  • Payment details
  • DNS Configuration
  • URL forwarding

This can be accessed from https://ncm.novarait.com/
